Aston Martin will relaunch the Lagonda marque, chief exec Ulrich Bez announced today. The famous name plate will be used on a range of upmarket cars, the first of which we'll see as a concept in 2009 – Lagonda's centenary year. What sort of cars will wear the Lagonda badge?
Tesla Motors is recalling its electric Roadster 2.0 and 2.5 models because a power cable may short and catch fire. The 12-volt cable, located behind the right-front headlight, could rub against the carbon-fiber paneling causing the cable to short, begin smoking and possibly catch fire, Tesla said. The cable is part of a backup system that powers the headlights, taillights, turn signals and airbags if the primary 12-volt cable fails.
Hyundai Motor America said its U.S. dealers will fix a steering problem found in some 2011 Sonata sedans after more than 4,000 owners complained about the car's steering system. Drivers have complained that the 2011 Sonata is prone to drifting or pulling to the left while being driven.
